On arrival in
Tenerife, if you choose, you will either be
met by professional Airport staff, at the
aircraft or the air bridge. There is a full time
company employed at Tenerife Airport whom Blue
Badge Tenerife
work with daily in transporting our mobility
clients. Be aware that some aircraft do not come
right up to the terminal, and passengers need to
board a bus to take them to the terminal. All
clients registered as PRM have special
arrangements to take them to the terminal.
Should you require the use of an airport manual
wheelchair, request one when booking.
The Airport
staff will assist you with baggage to the
Arrivals hall. Tell them who your onward journey
is with, in our case Blue Badge Tenerife,
experts in mobility transfers in Tenerife, and
they will bring you to the Blue Badge Host Stand
they know us well. If you require a manual
wheelchair to assist with your onward journey,
just say so when booking your transfer, one will
be provided free of charge, and we can transfer
you to the Blue Badge Wheelchair. You keep this
right up to your hotel.
If you have
reserved Blue Badge Tenerife mobility equipment for your holiday,
our staff will be informed of your arrival and
the equipment will be delivered to your hotel as
scheduled, and available for your use at the end
of your disabled transfer.
Blue Badge Tenerife Mobility will
transfer
you
from Tenerife Airport to your resort
You do not need to be a Blue Badge,
disabled badge holder, to use the blue Badge Tenerife
service. The mobility minibuses we use
rear ramp or side door access with special
wheelchair tracking and tie down facilities.
Blue Badge comply with all the latest safety standards, and
of course are fully air
conditioned.
