and what to do before you come to
Tenerife |

When you book your Tenerife Flights you should
register with the airlines special needs department as a PMR (in
English, a Person of
Reduced Mobility). You are not required to be a Blue Badge Car Park
Permit Holder to do this. Under new EU regulations, anyone, with or
without a Blue Badge Scheme Pass, can ask for assistance, but you must
reserve at least 48 hours in advance of travel. When you arrive at
Tenerife Airport, you will be given help off the plane by Clece
(Tenerife
airport operators) using their wheelchairs, or your own if you prefer.

Clece (Tenerife
airport operators) will assist you through passport control, help you
with your baggage reclamation and then bring you outside the arrival
hall to where a Blue Badge Tenerife Representative will be there to assist you to
your
Tenerife Airport Transfer. We also offer assistance and register
you for your return
journey. |

Under
certain circumstances it is possible to deliver and collect a wheelchair
to Tenerife Airport , but Blue Badge Tenerife will normally have your
mobility equipment delivered to your accommodation moments after your
arrival. |
